About · The Shop
Twenty years of avionics, one shop, one owner.
Moorhead Aviation Services opened in 2016 inside a brand-new hangar at the Moorhead Municipal Airport. Local businessman Marvin Fletcher had the hangar; Ryan Paulson, with nearly twenty years in the avionics industry, had the shop. The two built MAS together and earned FAA Certified Repair Station status the following year.
On January 1st, 2024, Ryan took sole ownership of the company. The shop he runs today carries the same Part 145 certification, the same state-of-the-art test equipment, the same laser wire marker and CNC router — and the same answer to "can you do this on my airplane?": yes, almost certainly.
From ICS radios in a Piper Cub to a complete CMS overhaul in a Gulfstream, MAS handles the install, the certifications, and the paperwork. Your airplane stays in a heated hangar the whole time. You take the courtesy car home.
